আফ্ৰিকান ছোৱাইন ফিভাৰ (ইংৰাজী: African swine fever) হৈছে ঘৰচীয়া আৰু বনৰীয়া গাহৰিৰ শৰীৰত ভাইৰাছৰ পৰা হোৱা এবিধ মাৰাত্মক সংক্ৰামক ৰোগ। এই বেমাৰবিধ গাহৰিৰ শৰীৰত সাধাৰণতে দেখা দিয়া ক্লাছিকেল ছোৱাইন ফিভাৰতকৈ বেলেগ আৰু এই বেমাৰবিধৰ কোনো প্ৰতিষেধক এতিয়ালৈ ওলোৱা নাই। আফ্ৰিকান ছোৱাইন ফিভাৰ আফ্ৰিকা, ইউৰোপ আৰু এছিয়াৰ কেইবাখনো দেশত বিস্তাৰিত হৈ আছে।[1] ২০২০ চনৰ মে' মাহৰ প্ৰথম সপ্তাহত সমগ্ৰ ভাৰতবৰ্ষৰ ভিতৰত অসমতেই পোনপ্ৰথমবাৰৰ বাবে এই বেমাৰ ধৰা পৰে।[2] একে মাহৰে মাজভাগলৈ অসমৰ ১০খন জিলাত আফ্ৰিকান ছোৱাইন ফিভাৰত আক্ৰান্ত হৈ ১৪৯১৯টা গাহৰিৰ মৃত্যু হোৱা বুলি অসমৰ কৃষি আৰু পশুপালন মন্ত্ৰী মাননীয় অতুল বৰাদেৱে জানিবলৈ দিয়ে।[3]

আফ্ৰিকান ছোৱাইন ফিভাৰ ৰোগ আফ্ৰিকান ছোৱাইন ফিভাৰ ভাইৰাছৰ দ্বাৰা হয়। এই ভাইৰাছটো আচফাৰভাইৰিডি (Asfarviridae) পৰিয়ালৰ অন্তৰ্গত এটা ডিএনএ ভাইৰাছ।[4][1] উল্লেখযোগ্য যে এই ভাইৰাছবিধে মানুহৰ শৰীৰত কোনোধৰণৰ ৰোগৰ সৃষ্টি নকৰে।[5][6]

২০২০ বৰ্ষৰ এপ্ৰিল মাহৰ শেষভাগত আফ্ৰিকান ছোৱাইন ফিভাৰত গাহৰিৰ মৃত্যু উদ্বেগজনকভাৱে বৃদ্ধি পোৱাৰ পৰিপ্ৰেক্ষিতত অসমৰ ছয়খন জিলাত গাহৰি মাংসৰ বিক্ৰী আৰু বিতৰণ বন্ধ কৰি দিয়ে।[7] জিলাকেইখন হৈছে বিশ্বনাথ, ধেমাজি, ডিব্ৰুগড়, লখিমপুৰ, শিৱসাগৰ আৰু যোৰহাট। ইয়াৰ পিছত মৃত গাহৰিৰ নমুনা ভূপালস্থিত নেচনেল ইনষ্টিটিউত অৱ হাই চিকিউৰিটি এনিমেল ডিজিজলৈ প্ৰেৰণ কৰা হয়। আৰু তাতে আফ্ৰিকান ছোৱাইন ফিভাৰ বুলি নিশ্চিত কৰা হয়।[8]
