১৯৮৪ চনৰ ১৪ ছেপ্টেম্বৰ তাৰিখে, চণ্ডীগড়ত পুনম আৰু পি. খুৰানাৰ ঘৰত, এটি পঞ্জাবী খাত্ৰী পৰিয়ালত[12] নিশান্ত খুৰানা ওৰফে আয়ুষ্মান খুৰানাই জন্মগ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল।[13][14] ৩ বছৰ বয়সত তেওঁৰ পিতৃ-মাতৃয়ে তেওঁৰ নাম সলনি কৰি আয়ুষ্মান ৰাখে। অভিনেতা অপাৰশক্তি খুৰানা তেওঁৰ এগৰাকী কনিষ্ঠ ভাতৃ।

আয়ুষ্মান খুৰানা গুৰু নানক খালছা মহাবিদ্যালয়ৰ অংশ আছিল। তেওঁ চণ্ডীগড়ৰ ছেইণ্ট জন'ছ হাইস্কুল আৰু চণ্ডীগড়ৰ ডিএভি কলেজত অধ্যয়ন কৰিছিল।[18] তেওঁ ইংৰাজী সাহিত্যত সন্মানসহ স্নাতক ডিগ্ৰী লাভ কৰিছিল আৰু পাঞ্জাব বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ স্কুল অৱ কমিউনিকেচন ষ্টাডিজৰ পৰা গণ যোগাযোগ বিষয়ত স্নাতকোত্তৰ ডিগ্ৰী লাভ কৰিছিল।[19] তেওঁ পাঁচ বছৰ থিয়েটাৰতো অভিনয় কৰিছিল।

কলেজীয়া দিনবোৰত তেওঁ ছিমলাৰ গেইটি থিয়েটাৰত কেইবাখনো নাটকত অভিনয় কৰিছিল। চণ্ডীগড়ৰ সক্ৰিয় নাট্যদল ডিএভি কলেজৰ "আঘাজ" আৰু "মঞ্চতন্ত্ৰ"ৰ প্ৰতিষ্ঠাপক সদস্যও আছিল।[19] তেওঁ বাটৰ নাটৰ কল্পনা আৰু অভিনয় কৰিছিল। ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় কলেজ উৎসৱ যেনে মুড ইণ্ডিগʼ (আইআইটি বম্বে), অএএছআইএছ (বিৰলা ইনষ্টিটিউট অৱ টেকন’লজি এণ্ড চাইন্স, পিলানি) আৰু ছেইণ্ট বেডেছ ছিমলা আদিত পুৰস্কাৰো লাভ কৰিছিল।[19] ধৰ্মবীৰ ভাৰতীৰ দ্বাৰা পৰিচালিত, অন্ধ যুগ নামৰ ছবিখনত অশ্বত্থামাৰ চৰিত্ৰত অভিনয় কৰি তেওঁ শ্ৰেষ্ঠ অভিনেতাৰ বঁটা লাভ কৰিছিল।[20]

খুৰানা বৰ্তমান কৰ্মসূত্ৰে মুম্বাইত থাকে আৰু তেওঁৰ পৰিয়াল এতিয়াও চণ্ডীগড়তে থাকে। তেওঁৰ ভাতৃ অপাৰশক্তি খুৰানা দিল্লীৰ ৰেডিঅʼ মিৰ্চি ৯৮.৩ এফএমত ৰেডিঅ‍ʼ জকী আৰু ২০১৬ চনত আমিৰ খান অভিনীত ছবি দংগলত অভিনয়েৰে অভিনয় জগতত আত্মপ্ৰকাশ কৰে।[21][22] ঘৰৰ সাহিত্যিক পৰিৱেশে খুৰানাকো যথেষ্ট প্ৰভাৱিত কৰিছিল আৰু তেওঁ লিখা-মেলাৰ কামটো নিজৰ চখ হিচাপে লৈছিল। তেওঁ হিন্দী ভাষাত ব্লগ আদি লিখা-মেলা কৰে আৰু এই কাৰ্যৰ বাবে তেওঁৰ প্ৰশংসকসকলৰ পৰা তেওঁ অতিশয় সমাদৰ লাভ কৰিছে।[23]
