চিকি সৰকাৰ বঙ্গালী পৰিয়ালত জন্মগ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল। তেওঁ পিতৃ আভীক সৰকাৰ আৰু মাতৃ ৰাখী সৰকাৰ কন্যা। আভীক সৰকাৰ এজন সাংবাদিক আৰু সংবাদপত্ৰৰ গৰাকী, যি কলকাতা-ভিত্তিক আনন্দবাজাৰ প্ৰতিকা মিডিয়া গ্ৰুপৰ সৈতে জড়িত। এই সংবাদ মাধ্যম গোষ্ঠী ১৮৭৬ চনত প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰা হৈছিল।
