হকে ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজৰ পৰা স্নাতক ডিগ্ৰী লাভ কৰি লণ্ডন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ৰ পৰা স্বাস্থ্য ব্যৱস্থা ব্যৱস্থাপনাত স্নাতকোত্তৰ ডিগ্ৰী লাভ কৰে।[3]

১৯৯৬ চনত হকে ইউনিচেফ বাংলাদেশত যোগদান কৰে।[3] ২০০৬ চনত হকে ইউনিচেফ শ্ৰীলংকাত কাম কৰি আছিল।[4]হকে ২০১০ চনৰ পৰা ২০১৩ চনলৈকে শ্ৰীলংকাত ইউনিচেফৰ উপ-প্ৰতিনিধি হিচাপে কাৰ্যনিৰ্বাহ কৰিছিল।[3] ২০০৭ চনৰ পৰা ২০১০ চনলৈকে হকে ঘানাত ইউনিচেফৰ প্ৰতিনিধি হিচাপে কাৰ্যনিৰ্বাহ কৰিছিল।[3] হকে ২০১০ চনৰ পৰা ২০১৩ চনলৈকে দক্ষিণ চুডানত ইউনিচেফৰ প্ৰতিনিধি হিচাপে কাৰ্যনিৰ্বাহ কৰিছিল।[3] ২০১৭ চনৰ জুলাই মাহত হকক ভাৰতত ইউনিচেফৰ প্ৰতিনিধি হিচাপে নিযুক্তি দিয়া হয়।[5][6] নিউয়ৰ্ক চহৰৰ ইউনিচেফৰ মুখ্য কাৰ্যালয়ত ভিত্তি কৰি জৰুৰীকালীন কাৰ্যসূচীৰ উপ-সঞ্চালিকা হিচাপে কাৰ্যনিৰ্বাহ কৰি আহিছিল।[7] তেওঁ শৰণাৰ্থী আৰু প্ৰব্ৰজনকাৰী আন্দোলন গৱেষণা ইউনিটৰ প্ৰতিষ্ঠাপক সদস্য।[8] হকে কয় যে ভাৰতে ২০১৮ চনত স্বাস্থ্যসেৱাৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত উন্নতি সাধন কৰি আছে।[9] তেওঁ কয় যে ভাৰতত প্ৰাথমিক শৈশৱত ল'ৰাতকৈ ছোৱালীৰ মৃত্যু হয়।[10] ২০২১ চনৰ জুন মাহত হকে যুৱ যোদ্ধা আন্দোলন আৰম্ভ কৰে যাতে যুৱক-যুৱতীসকলক ভাৰতক ক'ভিড-১৯ মহামাৰীৰ পৰা আৰোগ্য লাভ কৰাত অংশগ্ৰহণ কৰিবলৈ উৎসাহিত কৰে।[11] ভাৰতৰ শিক্ষাৰ ওপৰত মহামাৰীৰ ক্ষতিকাৰক প্ৰভাৱৰ বিষয়ে তেওঁ কয়।[12] তেওঁ ভাৰত চৰকাৰক শিশু শ্ৰমিকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ব্যৱস্থা ল'বলৈ আহ্বান জনায়।[13] তেওঁ জলবায়ু পৰিৱৰ্তনক শিশুৰ সঠিক বিষয় বুলি অভিহিত কৰিছিল।[14]
