শ্ৰী
শ্ৰী (/ʃriː/;[1] সংস্কৃত: श्री, ) হৈছে উজ্জ্বলতা, ধন-সম্পত্তি আৰু সমৃদ্ধি বুজাবলৈ ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা সংস্কৃত শব্দ, যিটো মূলতঃ সন্মানীয় হিচাপে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়।[1]
এই শব্দটো দক্ষিণ আৰু দক্ষিণ-পূব এছিয়াৰ ভাষা যেনে হিন্দীত, আৰু ফিলিপাইনছৰ ভাষাৰ মাজতো বহুলভাৱে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়।
সাধাৰণতে লিপিবদ্ধকৰণৰ বাবে স্থানীয় নিয়মৰ ভিত্তিত ইয়াক শ্ৰী, শৃ, ছিৰি, শ্ৰি, বা ছী বুলি লিপিবদ্ধ কৰা হয়।
তামিল ভাষাত ইয়াৰ বিকাশ ঘটি হৈছে থিৰু।
ভাৰতীয় উপমহাদেশ আৰু দক্ষিণ-পূব এছিয়াত এই শব্দটো ইংৰাজী "মিষ্টাৰ"ৰ সমতুল্য সম্বোধনৰ ভদ্ৰ ৰূপ হিচাপে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়। লিখিত আৰু কথিত ভাষাত।
"শ্ৰী" দেৱতাক পূজা উপাধি হিচাপে বা ব্যক্তিৰ সন্মানীয় উপাধি হিচাপেও ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়।
"শ্ৰী" হিন্দু দেৱী লক্ষ্মীৰ উপনামো, আনহাতে জনপ্ৰিয়ভাৱে তেওঁক পূজা কৰিবলৈ ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা যন্ত্ৰ বা ৰহস্যময় আঁকক শ্ৰীযন্ত্ৰ বুলি কোৱা হয়।

মনিয়েৰ-উইলিয়ামছ অভিধানত শ্ৰী মূল ক্ৰিয়াৰ অৰ্থ "ৰন্ধা, উতলা, জ্বলোৱা, পোহৰ বিস্তাৰ কৰা" বুলি দিয়া হৈছে, কিন্তু নাৰীসুলভ বিমূৰ্ত বিশেষ্য হিচাপে ই "কৃপা, মহিমা, সৌন্দৰ্য; ধন, সমৃদ্ধি, সমৃদ্ধি"ৰ সাধাৰণ অৰ্থ লাভ কৰিছে।[3][4]
শ্ৰী শব্দটো সংস্কৃতত বিশেষণ হিচাপেও ব্যৱহাৰ হ’ব পাৰে, যিটো সংস্কৃতত শ্ৰী শব্দটোক উপাধি হিচাপে আধুনিক ব্যৱহাৰৰ উৎপত্তি।
বিশেষ্যৰ পৰাই সংস্কৃত বিশেষণ "শ্ৰীমৎ" (পুৰুষৰ নাম একবচনত শ্ৰীমান, স্ত্ৰীলিঙ্গত শ্ৰীমতী) দখল সূচক প্ৰত্যয় যোগ কৰি উৎপন্ন হয়, আক্ষৰিক অৰ্থত "উজ্জ্বলতা থকা" (ব্যক্তি, দেৱতা ইত্যাদি)। আধুনিক স্থানীয়ভাষাত বিবাহিত মহিলাৰ বাবে ঠিকনা শ্ৰীমতী (সংক্ষিপ্ত শ্ৰীমতী) হিচাপে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰা হয়, আনহাতে সুশ্ৰী ("সু", "ভাল", আৰম্ভণিতে যোগ কৰা) সাধাৰণতে মহিলাৰ বাবে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিব পাৰি (বৈবাহিক অৱস্থা নিৰ্বিশেষে)।
