শৰ্মা
শৰ্মা (Sharma) হৈছে এটা হিন্দু ব্ৰাহ্মণ উপাধি। সংস্কৃত মূল ṣárman- (প্ৰথমা বিভক্তি sarma) শব্দৰ অৰ্থ হ'ব পাৰে 'আনন্দ', 'সুখ', 'সন্তুষ্টি'।[1][2] Sarma আৰু Sarmah হৈছে এই নামৰ বিকল্প ইংৰাজী বানান, যি সাধাৰণতে অসমীয়া ব্ৰাহ্মণসকলে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰে।[3]
উৎপত্তি
[সম্পাদনা কৰক]ভৱিষ্য পুৰাণ অনুসৰি, শৰ্মা হৈছে প্ৰথম ব্ৰাহ্মণ উপাধি, যি বিষ্ণুৰ ষষ্ঠ অৱতাৰ পৰশুৰামে, ৰজা জয়সেনক প্ৰদান কৰা বুলি কোৱা হয়।[4]
