উত্তৰ প্ৰদেশৰ নয়ডা চহৰত শংকৰে জন্ম গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল আৰু তাতেই তেওঁ ডাঙৰ-দীঘল হৈছিল। শংকৰ এগৰাকী প্ৰশিক্ষিত হিন্দুস্তানী শাস্ত্ৰীয় কণ্ঠশিল্পী। তেওঁ দিল্লীৰ নেচনেল ইনষ্টিটিউট অৱ ফেশ্বন টেকন'লজিৰ পৰা ফেশ্বন মেনেজমেণ্ট বিষয়ত স্নাতকোত্তৰ ডিগ্ৰী লাভ কৰে।[4][5]
