This template should be placed on the documentation subpage(not the template page) of any template that needs to be substituted rather than transcluded. This will add the template toCategory:Wikipedia substituted templates.

Parameters:

• |auto=yes/no: If set to yes, change the notice to state that the template is automatically substed. Default to no.
• |caps=: If set to anything, first letter of template is capitalized. Default to nothing (i.e. first letter lowercase).
