পুঁজিবাদ বা ধনতন্ত্ৰ (ইংৰাজী: Capitalism) হৈছে এক প্ৰকাৰৰ অৰ্থনৈতিক ব্যৱস্থা আৰু উৎপাদন পদ্ধতি য’ত ব্যৱসায়, উদ্যোগ আৰু উৎপাদনৰ কাৰক বা উপাদানসমূহ সম্পূৰ্ণৰূপে নাইবা অধিকাংশই ব্যক্তিগত মালিকাধীন। ব্যক্তিগত প্ৰতিষ্ঠান বা মালিকীস্বত্বৰ উদ্দেশ্যে সাধাৰণতে লাভ আহৰণ কৰা যদিও কোনো অলাভকাৰী প্ৰতিষ্ঠানৰো মালিকীস্বত্ব ব্যক্তিগত হ’ব পাৰে।[1][2] পুঁজিবাদৰ বৈশিষ্ট্যসমূহৰ ভিতৰত ব্যক্তিগত সম্পত্তি, মূলধন আহৰণ, মজুৰিপ্ৰাপ্ত বনুৱা আৰু কোনো কোনো ক্ষেত্ৰত পূৰ্ণ প্ৰতিযোগিতা সম্বলিত বজাৰেই প্ৰধান।[3][4] পুঁজিবাদী অৰ্থব্যৱস্থাৰ লেনদেন একোটাত মুক্ত বজাৰত হোৱা প্ৰতিযোগিতাৰ ভিত্তিত মূল্যসমূহ নিৰ্ধাৰণ কৰা হয়।[5]

প্ৰতিযোগিতাৰ মাত্ৰা, অৰ্থনৈতিক হস্তক্ষেপ আৰু নিয়ন্ত্ৰণৰ ভূমিকা আৰু মালিকীস্বত্ব পুঁজিবাদৰ ভাগ অনুসৰি ভিন্ন হ’ব পাৰে।[6] অৰ্থনীতিবিদ, ৰাজনৈতিক অৰ্থনীতিবিদ আৰু ইতিহাসবিদসকলে বিশ্লেষণ কৰি পুঁজিবাদৰ বিভিন্ন ভাগ চিনাক্ত কৰিছে। ইয়াৰ ভিতৰত লেইছেজ ফেয়াৰ বা মুক্ত বজাৰ পুঁজিবাদ, কল্যাণকামী পুঁজিবাদ, ক্ৰ’নি (crony) পুঁজিবাদ, ব্যৱসায়িক প্ৰতিষ্ঠানমুলক পুঁজিবাদ, তৃতীয় পন্থাৰ সামাজিক গণতন্ত্ৰ আৰু ৰাষ্ট্ৰ পুঁজিবাদ। ইয়াৰে প্ৰতিটো ভাগত মুক্ত বজাৰ, মুক্ত মালিকীস্বত্ব, মুক্ত প্ৰতিযোগিতাৰ প্ৰতিৰোধক আৰু সামাজিক নীতিৰ অন্তৰ্ভুক্তিৰ মাত্ৰা ভিন্ন হ’ব পাৰে। মুক্ত বজাৰৰ মাত্ৰা আৰু ব্যক্তিগত সম্পত্তি ধাৰণৰ নিয়ম ৰাজনৈতিক আৰু চৰকাৰী নীতিগত বিষয় হৈ পৰে। বহু দেশত মিশ্ৰ অৰ্থনৈতিক ব্যৱস্থা দেখা যায় য’ত পুঁজিবাদ আৰু পৰিকল্পিত অৰ্থনীতিৰ উপাদানসমূহ মিহলি হৈ পৰে।[7] বিভিন্ন সময়ত, বিভিন্ন ঠাইত, বিভিন্ন সংস্কৃতিত আৰু বিভিন্ন ৰাজনৈতিক ব্যৱস্থাত পুঁজিবাদৰ উপস্থিতি পৰিলক্ষিত হৈ আহিছে।[8] বণিজবাদৰ পতনৰ পিছেৰে পৰা পাশ্চাত্যৰ দেশসমূহত পুঁজিবাদী অৰ্থ ব্যৱস্থাই প্ৰধান ঠাই দখল কৰি আহিছে।[9]
