বাণিজ্য
বাণিজ্য (ইংৰাজী: Commerce) হৈছে ব্যাপকভাৱে কৰা পণ্য সামগ্ৰী আৰু সেৱাৰ বিনিময়।[1] যি প্ৰক্ৰিয়াৰ দ্বাৰা পণ্য বা দ্ৰব্যৰ ক্ৰয়-বিক্ৰয়ৰ পৰা আৰম্ভ কৰি, দ্ৰব্যসমূহৰ পৰিবহণ, বীমাকৰণ, সঞ্চয়কৰণ, বিত্তীয়কৰণ, শ্ৰেণীকৰণ ইত্যাদি কাৰ্যবিলাক সম্পন্ন কৰি ভোক্তাক সন্তুষ্ট প্ৰদান কৰা হয়, সেই ব্যৱস্থাৱলী সমষ্টিটোক বাণিজ্য বোলা হয়।[2]

অধ্যাপক ষ্টিফেনচনৰ মতে বাণিজ্য হৈছে- “পণ্য বিনিময়ৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত সন্মুখীন হোৱা ব্যক্তি, স্থান, আৰু কাল সংক্ৰান্তিয় অসুবিধাসমূহ দূৰ কৰাৰ বাবে লোৱা প্ৰক্ৰিয়াৰ সমষ্টি।”[2] (“Commerce is the sum total of all those processes, which are engaged in the removal of hindrance of persons (trade), place (transport and insurance) and time (warehousing) in the exchange (banking) of commodities.”)[3]
ব্যুৎপত্তি[সম্পাদনা কৰক]
ইংৰাজী ভাষাৰ “commerce” (অসমীয়াত “বাণিজ্য”) শব্দটো লেটিন শব্দ “commercium” ৰ পৰা লোৱা হৈছে। যাৰ ইংৰাজী অৰ্থ হৈছে- com মানে "together" আৰু merx মানে "merchandise।" [4]
