Hey Deepraj, I think again we are stuck in the font problem. I think now the Assamese wikipedia is readable. I will send you a jpg of what gets displayed on my screen, could you send one from yours please. Also I do not see any bengali ro in the main page...could you point our which words appear as the bengalo ro in your page? I have also tested the pages in other computers and it all looks fine, Can you please confirm! Are you running Win XP or other OS?
Do you have, by any chance the Bangla Hinted Font Lohit installed in your comp?

Hi Deepraj,
Please enable the complex Asian script support on your computer that should take care of the font dispaly problem and immediately you wont see the Bengali fonts. If you notice the stand-alone "ro" s are diaplayed as Assamese. The bengali [ro]occurs only when you do not have complex script support installed. The Bengali ro is displayed as Assamese font set uses the same 'ro' kar as Bengali which is not displayed as Bengali once you install the CASS on your comp!
And also could you check if you have any of the Ekushey fonts installed on your computer. What is the text view that you get in IE? I would assume that the text size has to do with the configuration of the browser.

Hi Deepraj, Could you please help creating some templates for the Assamese wikipedia? Today I copied the source for the reflist template. However, I am not sure of the copyright isuues attached. Could you look into that? Reflist template is used in the entry for অসমীয়া
Could you please see if you could buid some infobox templates for Assamese Wiki?
In the English Wiki, in the entry for GAMOSA, there are multiple views about the origin of the word GAMOSA. I think we should ask for valid references for that. What do you think?
