Deletion proposal

পূর্বী নাগৰী লিপি or Eastern Nagari script name was first used in Eng wikipedia. It finds no mention in any book. For some obscure reasons it was kept in Eng wiki in spite of several discussions. Propaganda article

This article and some related articles have been prepared which appears to be a kind of promotion of a propaganda and a controversial subject. Till recently , it was being postulated that the Assamese script is nothing but a sub-set of Bengali script even when it is explicitly evident that the Assamese script has distinct and extra letters with distinct sounds. It was out of a mistake of the Indian Government, arrogance and hypocrisy of the Unicode authority in U.S that the Assamese script was not recognized as an Independent script which actually deserved respect in the same line as the Latin script for English language & some other European languages. The name Bengali script is a misnomer in the Unicode and this is in the process of rectification there. Unicode has many controversy besides this Assamese -Bengali script controversy and if they don't repair those, some other advanced and correct standard may soon replace it in the same way the old foot-pound-second standard was made obsolete. Having been failed to continue with the propaganda by Bangladeshi Bengali speaking Muslim community ( who are also not original in that place, opportunistic & unfaithful to their constitution and Government in Karachi, secessionists and mainly converted but now increased itself to a huge size due to uncontrolled births and who probably adopted the language locally prevalent there at some point of history ) in Bangladesh (East-Pakistan) and some well wishers of that south-east Asian nation here in Assam, the new theory of a super set like this Purva-Nagori script has been postulated by vested interests. Such articles must be removed one by one to prevent further propagation of a wrong concept among the world community and new generations. JBDVIJASDVI (talk)
