১৯৭৩ চনৰ ১০ অক্টোবৰত শ্ৰী ৰাজামৌলীয়ে এটি তেলুগু পৰিয়ালত জন্মগ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল৷৷[12] জন্মস্থান আছিল বৰ্তমান কৰ্ণাটক ৰাজ্যৰ ৰায়চুৰ জিলাৰ মানৱীৰ সমীপৱৰ্তী অমৰেশ্বৰাত৷[3][13] তেখেতৰ পিতৃ ভি. বিজয়েন্দ্ৰ প্ৰসাদ আছিল এগৰাকী চিত্ৰনাট্য-লেখক৷ আনহাতে মাতৃৰ নাম আছিল ৰাজা নন্দিনী৷[14][15] তেখেতৰ পৰিয়ালটো অন্ধ্ৰ প্ৰদেশ ৰাজ্যৰ কোৱৰৰ মূল বাসিন্দা আছিল৷[16] তেখেতৰ প্ৰাথমিক শিক্ষাগ্ৰহণ কোৱৰত হৈছিল আৰু উচ্চ শিক্ষা তেখেতে ইলুৰুত গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল৷ [17] ৰাজামৌলী বহুদিনলৈকে বিশাখাপট্টনমত আছিল৷ কাৰণ তেখেতৰ মাক সেইখন ঠাইৰে জীয়ৰী আছিল৷[18]
