১৯৭৩ চনৰ ১০ অক্টোবৰত শ্ৰী ৰাজামৌলীয়ে এটি তেলেগু পৰিয়ালত জন্মগ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল৷৷[7] জন্মস্থান আছিল বৰ্তমান কৰ্ণাটক ৰাজ্যৰ ৰায়চুৰ জিলাৰ মানৱীৰ সমীপৱৰ্তী অমৰেশ্বৰাত৷[8][9] তেখেতৰ পিতৃ ভি. বিজয়েন্দ্ৰ প্ৰসাদ আছিল এগৰাকী চিত্ৰনাট্য-লেখক৷ আনহাতে মাতৃৰ নাম আছিল ৰাজা নন্দিনী৷[10][11] তেখেতৰ পৰিয়ালটো অন্ধ্ৰ প্ৰদেশ ৰাজ্যৰ কোৱৰৰ মূল বাসিন্দা আছিল৷[12] তেখেতৰ প্ৰাথমিক শিক্ষাগ্ৰহণ কোৱৰত হৈছিল আৰু উচ্চ শিক্ষা তেখেতে ইলুৰুত গ্ৰহণ কৰিছিল৷ [13] ৰাজামৌলী বহুদিনলৈকে বিশাখাপট্টনমত আছিল৷ কাৰণ তেখেতৰ মাক সেইখন ঠাইৰে জীয়ৰী আছিল৷[14]

ৰাজামৌলীয়ে কে. ৰাঘৱেন্দ্ৰ ৰাওৰ তত্ত্বাৱধানত ইটিভি ইণ্ডিয়াৰ বাবে তেলেগু ধাৰাবাহিক পৰিচালনা কৰিবলৈ আৰম্ভ কৰিছিল৷ পৰৱৰ্তী সময়ত তেখেতে সান্থী নিৱাসম নামৰ টিভি চিৰিজটো পৰিচালনা কৰে৷ তেখেতৰ দ্বাৰা নিৰ্মিত প্ৰথমখন চলচ্চিত্ৰ আছিল জুনিয়ৰ এনটিআৰৰ সৈতে কৰা ষ্টুডেণ্ট নং ১৷ ইয়াৰ দুটা বছৰৰ পাছত তেখেতে ছিমাহাদ্ৰি নামৰ ছবিখন নিৰ্মাণ কৰে৷[15] [16] ৰাজামৌলীৰ তৃতীয়খন ছবি হৈছে ছাই (২০০৪)৷ ছবিখনত জেনেলিয়া ডিছুজা আৰু নিথিনে অভিনয় কৰিছিল৷ ছবিখন ৰাগবি খেলৰ ওপৰত আধাৰিত৷ টলিউডত এনেধৰণৰ ছবি এয়েই প্ৰথম৷[17]
